A friend committed suicide a few years ago on Halloween, which is celebrated among my group of friends with a fancy dress party.
Every year on Halloween we either go to the cemetery to see him or have a drink together and talk about him, or both, then have the party. As Halloween in the last few years has been during the week we are able to separate both celebrations, but still have a toast to honour him.
