do we just cease to exist?

I think the question is , not to think about death as an end .. but in finding your answers about death - look around at the world which we live in know . All this beauty, pain , love and compassion every glory and agony that makes up life - How can there be only one exisitance - How could we have just been the sporn of some freak explosion that is the explation of the creation of the world . I dont think so. Think of the intristic detail in which we live our daily lives and the way we feel, make choices , connect , feel and love - but yet we are just blood and bone- the fact that we exist at all , is amazing - the fact that we were chosen to be who we are where we are is mind boggling . How can we just take life in all it amazing indescriblities are just say - oh well we'll all rot and it wont mean anything . Believing that youre spirit just ceases to exist after our physical body has worn out is ignorance. Think about torture - a person may harm you , rape you mutalate you but they cannot take your spirit and soul that is yours to own - forever - It belongs in the hands of God - If you believe that your spirit will cease to exist after you die - then there is no meaning to life - only morbit hopelessness, it only makes the goals of self-gradification and selfishness even more feasable . For crying out loud people - believe in something for your own sanities sake!
