Have to wait and see
by Linda, Qld

My father died when I was 13, lowered in a box into the ground...his life gone, but his memories within me along with much pain and hot tears. There has to be more, not just nothing, dead, gone. He came to visit me in dreams to say he was ok and well. I took many years to accept his death and think thoughts of him with joy not pain. I work with many people who's pain is so great they fantasise and try for death. They think the pain of the mind stops with the body's death. I believe there is more than the body...our consciousness continues ...along with the pain or joy ...in fact the pain is worse without a body to distract. Just some doubt might prevent their path of destruction. These thoughts of theirs pass and their lives take a better course...they just need to get through it, and life gets better. But who knows what happens after death? We'll see..death's inevitable.
